London Collections

London Collections is a showcase of the best of British 2015 spring/summer menswear collections and as always it's not just the catwalk that catches the eye. Here are a few of the best streetstyle looks from this week. Enjoy!

Plain White Tee

The most versatile and essential basic of your wardrobe is a plain white Tee. It goes amazingly well with everything. A plain white Tee is cool and it's a piece that's able to be worn any day of the year, in any season. So consider the white Tee as an investment piece, although finding the perfect one is not as easy as one would think. It's all about choosing the right cut and fabric for your body. Personally I would go for a Tee in a more slouchy style; perfect with a skinny jeans and black jacket. Keeping it simple is the best thing you can do!

Iconic Superga

An Italian icon for over 100 years, the classic Superga sneaker is pretty much the perfect blend of utility and understated design. And now they are the musthave trainers for this summer. Apparently. Like many other sneakers. Missed this canvas tennis shoe trend a bit but the fun part is that I did wear them back in the early days. In vintage green to be precise. And if you think about it, they are comfortable and perfect for a fun and fashionable look. What do you think, has the Superga sneaker defied trends and stood the test of time?

I am normally not so keen on the Maison Martin Margiela collections. To say the least. The label loves to experimentate and so their clothes always have too many tweaks. Not my cup of tea. But their resort 2015 collection provides hope; most of the items are actually wearable but of course still with this typical Margiela touch. Neu Minimalism is the new black. Or whatever. Anyway, bet it will not take long before the copies will appear at the high street chains.
