They are all French models and could be seen as the next generation of power players. About 15 years ago I bought my first real jeans jacket in London. This jacket was from the brand French Connection and I really felt in love with it at that time. Through the years a few Levi's jeans jackets did their best to please me.... But now I found myself a new 'best jacket', in Italy. This Dondup jeans jacket has got a beautiful faded colour blue, the perfect length and is worn out at the right places. (Picture of the jacket later this week...)
To Long-Nam is a young Paris-based fashion designer. In 2000 he graduated in Fashion Design in Berlin and after a few jobs as a designer assistent he founded his own company. This fall he will launch a menswear inspired womenswear collection with beautiful suits. Definitely a designer to look out for. Well done!

Today was the opening of the Acne Studio in Amsterdam! This is Acne's first shop in the Benelux and they are planning 2 or 3 more shops in the near future. In a small but very nice typical Amsterdam setting in the Oude Spiegelstraat (Nine Streets) initiator Bart de Groot has succeeded in bringing the spirit of Acne to the Netherlands.

The Repetto store in Paris said that there is an increased interest in these patent shoes available in black or white. Pietrasanta is a small village on the coast of northern Tuscany in Italy. A town with lots of artists, sculptors and galleries. It is considered as the number one place in the world for marble working. And with his narrow cobbled streets and lovely restaurants it is 'a visit you can't refuse'!
