A friend of mine (actually the one who's searching for that Persian carpet) still believes to find the right pair of riding boots, preferably this winter... Army @ Balmain

Balmain is hot! So is their designer Christophe Decarnin! Balmain's influence is visible almost every which way you care to look in a chain store. For next Spring their collection is again with huge-shouldered jackets and tailcoats, holed T-shirts and ripped, destroyed and stained jeans. The models looked like an army of sizzling and sleek supergirls with their bullet belts. Let's go for that military simple T-shirt!!

Madonna for D&G

Check out Madonna in the Dolce & Gabbana Sicilian-inspired Spring 2010 campaign captured by photographer Steven Klein. The ad campaign shows a very domesticated Madonna washing dishes and preparing food. I do like Madonna this way!

Project Runway 6

I really like the US hit series Project Runway which gives designers an opportunity to launch their careers in fashion under the watchfull eye of Tim Gunn. The program is hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum and has proven to be one of television's most talked about shows. Season 6 has just been broadcasted on Dutch television (Season 7 is showing in the US at the moment) and the winner was......Irina Shabayeva! She is now quickly becoming the new big name in fashion. 'Fashion is about life styles' she says. I totally agree.
