Acne kept it simple for their Fall 2011 show today and presented a collection that was inspired by just a few pieces. Designer Jonny Johansson was inspired by the girls in his design studio: 'These creative girls make a lot of fashion out of a few garments". I love the leather trousers which still have that cool silhouette! The cult of Acne continues!

Isabel Marant's spring 2011 collection is all about. The models looked as if they had just rolled out of bed and thrown of whatever they found across the floor - cuffed shorts, a mesh top, a lumberjack shirt or a multitiered miniskirt. And by some miracle of nature, this thrown-together look just happens to work. I was surprised to see the mesh basketball tanks back in fashion again, but I like! Masculin combined with Parisien chic!

Mr. Newton outside NYFW. Photo 1 is former model and blogger Hanneli Mustaparta. In photo 2 I like the combination of the boyish sweater with the fine long skirt. Photo 3 is photographer and blogger Tamu McPherson who I met very briefly in Paris last september outside PFW. Well, it's done with the Fashion Week in New York now, next stop: London!

Last night our very own to-be-proud-of Dutch label G-Star launched their fall 2011 collection at this same New York Fashion Week. According to Style.com the show was kept small, compared to the past few seasons wherefore the clothes were more visible. A positive! The collection was very compelling and there were a lot of functionality accents. Most of the jeans had oversized pockets and a lived-in look; nothing too tight and nothing enormously baggy. For me it was nice to see an innovative boyfriend jeans again! I like! G-Star still rules! Want to see the show? Click here!

Zara just released some wonderful photos from its Spring 2011 lookbook featuring the beautiful Stella Tennant. Clean lines and a modern 70s appeal is what we see. I love that oversized jacket, looks like a perfect coat for me this Spring!
