I am normally not so keen on the Maison Martin Margiela collections. To say the least. The label loves to experimentate and so their clothes always have too many tweaks. Not my cup of tea. But their resort 2015 collection provides hope; most of the items are actually wearable but of course still with this typical Margiela touch. Neu Minimalism is the new black. Or whatever. Anyway, bet it will not take long before the copies will appear at the high street chains.

Culottes are officially the new musthave pants for this season. Eh you mean that old-fashioned split skirt our mothers used to wear long time ago...? Yep, that's the one. According to the runways the culottes have proven to be the trend to try, but how to wear them in a fashionable way?
First things first, find a pair that hits midcalf. No longer, no shorter. Pair the the wide-legged cropped pants with a cool basic like a sweater or a sheer blouse and heels. Although I prefer sneakers. So, are you ready for the return of the culottes?

Shower slides

Okay, let's just say we didn't see this one coming. Adidas shower slides are having a moment. Really. The most coolest girls are picking up this wacky new trend we normally see only at the swimming pool showers or campsites. And now these navy and blue striped slides are popping up on Instagram and in fashion shoots too. Since last summer already the slides are now being looked at in a completely different light and became actually laid-back cool. Well, they are super comfy that's for sure and will cost you only about €40. And if  the fashionable way fails you can always wear them in the shower. So tell me are you convinced yet?

Chelsea boots

Chelsea boots have been back on the streets for a while, but when designers like Saint Laurent and Paul Smith send them down on the Fall 2013 catwalk this classical boot with elastic side panels has made a massive comeback. The Beatles brought the boots back to life in the 1960s already as Sir Paul McCartney was starting the trend and wearing them on a regular basis earning them the nickname Beatles Boots.
Anyway, the Chelsea boot has an exceptionally versatile silhouette which works very well with skinny jeans and various outfits. In fact this boot could be a staple piece in your wardrobe so worth the investment.
